Kuwait, Feb 27, 2018 : The much-awaited first ever bilingual Konkani-Tulu film, 'Ashem Zalem Kashem - Incha Aanda Yencha', by ‘Glorious Angelore Productions' directed by well-known musician, singer and composer Maxim Pereira Angelore was screened at American International School Maidan Hawalli on Sunday, February 25.

The two shows of the film at 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm film were witnessed by houseful audiences.

After a brief introduction by Kuwait's popular multilingual compere Jaison Lasrado, the programme started with the national anthem of Kuwait and India. The screening was inaugurated by lighting of lamp by director Maxim Pereira Angelore, Fr Noel D'Almeida, main sponsor Elias and Tressy Sanctis, producer Joe and Precilla Pereira and lead actor Roopesh Shetty. A souvenir was released by Elias and Tressy Sanctis to mark the event. Fr Noel wished the movie a grand success. Maxim Pereira, Elias Sanctis and Roopesh Shetty shared their experience on the movie, its production and journey.

Fr Franco Pereira, Fr Blany Pinto and Fr Roswin Fernandes were present during screening. Producer Joe Pereira rendered the vote of thanks. The director, actor and sponsors were felicitated with momentos. Both Konkani and Tulu speaking audience thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The movie was appreciated by audience for the perfect combination of comedy, story, emotions, action and romance.

The star cast of the movie includes RJ Roopesh Shetty in the lead role with Sinol Menezes, accompanied by Ranjitha Louis of 'Noshibacho Khell' fame, Jennifer D'Souza, Rohan, Nikith, Judith D'Souza, Colin Mascarenhas, Jeevan Vas, Joseph Mathias, Roshan Paldane, Umesh Mijar, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Gopinath Bhat, and others.

Music for the film has been composed by Patson Pereira with lyrics by Maxim Pereira, Wilson Kateel, Joe Kulshekar and John Permannur. The associate director of the movie is Kishore Moodbidri, while Satvik Hebbar and Sandeep Bedra are assistant directors of the movie.

The post-production of the film was done at Daijiworld Audio Visuals Mangaluru. Udaya Ballal has managed the camera for the movie while veteran dramatist John Permannur has written the screenplay and dialogues for the movie. Comedy part of the screenplay was written by Willaim Pinto Padarengi. The production of the movie was managed by Maxim Pereira along with Vincent D'Souza, Nithyadar Nagar and Joe Pereira Kuwait. With a tinge of comedy, ‘Ashesm Zalem Kashem’ showcases the union of two families, focusing on the life of Amit, who, at a very young age, is separated from his family.
